What does my MGB VIN mean, & how much is my MGB worth?

I'm wanting to sell my MGB and I'm trying to gather some information. The information for my MGB is below, along with pictures. My question's are; What does the "354032" number mean, and how much would it be worth (how much should I ask)? Also, one VIN website says it's a 1973 & one says it's a 1974. It states on the plate inside the door that it was manufactured in 6/74, so it has to be a '74, right?

Here is the condition of the car: (The previous owner did this work and I bought it in 2006)
1. Motor was rebuilt about 5 years ago, with less than 5,000 miles (currently).
2. Paint (white) job is the same age and it's been kept in a carport.
3. Interior (beige) is semi restored and is in good condition.
4. Was running very well, but I didn't crank it for about 2 months and now it doesn't run. It's been sitting up for about 1 year. I was told by a local (chevy) dealership that it just needed new carburetors, but they didn't want to work on it, because of the age and being that it's a foreign car.
